If it's true that a ?picture is worth a thousand words? then you have to ask yourself ? what do my photos say about ME! More importantly ? what are your photos saying about YOUR COMPANY, PRODUCTS or SERVICES? As a designer, I can not say enough about the importance of quality photography and the impact they have in terms of producing quality marketing materials for your business.

To meet this need for our customers, we have developed a working relationship with local photographer, Kevin G. Smith. Kevin is not only an exceptional photographer, he also has a background as a professional basketball player. Whether shooting hoops or shooting photos, Kevin is always on his game.

photosKevin regularly shoots for customers that we are working with. In fact he has recently shot for Alaska Growth Capital, Lung & Sleep Clinic of Alaska, Inc., and Alaska Vein Clinic. The images from these shoots will play a huge role in the visual effectiveness of the new web sites we are building and other advertising projects such as brochures, annual reports, signage and much more. Whether you are starting a new project or want to improve your current marketing efforts ? be sure and give Kevin a call!

GCI Email Issue - Very Important

Heads up everyone who uses GCI as their ISP. GCI is phasing in a new authentication protocol. If you are having trouble sending email this is what could be going on. If your server has been phased in, in order to send email you will now have to check Outgoing SMTP authentication on your mail client program (Outlook Express, etc.). Your account name and password for Outgoing SMTP authentication is provided by GCI, we do not have access to it. You can contact GCI at 222-0611 (Anchorage), 374-0611 (Fairbanks), 523-0611 (Juneau).

Please Note: These settings only affect your "outgoing mail" not your "incoming mail". Leave your incoming mail or POP server settings as they are.

    Featured Logo Design

Do you need a new logo? Does your existing logo need an Extreme Makeover?

If the answer to either of these questions is "Yes" then be sure to give Sundog Media a call - 907.338.1847. Let's face it - in today's fast paced world where people are overwhelmed by numerous forms of advertising - a strong logo can be the deciding factor in getting your company noticed.

The new logo above was recently developed for Alaska Vein Clinic. They are Alaska's Most Complete Varicose Vein Care Center specializing in minimally invasive vein care without stripping. The logo design was influenced by the non invasive procedure which uses a RF energy to shrink the varicose veins.
