Instructions for Microsoft Entourage (v12.1.2)

OS X Entourage Step 1 From the "Tools" Menu Select "Accounts".
OS X Entourage Step 2 Select "New" (Click the button circled in red below). If you click the triangle and a menu appears, select "Mail from the menu.
OS X Entourage Step 3 Enter your new email address, and click the right arrow to continue.
OS X Entourage Step 4 A warning will appear saying that "Automatic Configuration Failed". Ignore the warning. Click the right arrow to continue.
OS X Entourage Step 5 Verify and Complete Settings. Fields to note: Your Name: Your name or company name Your new E-mail address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Account ID: This is your full email address (ex: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) Password: Enter as assigned to you by Sundog Media. (case-sensitive ex: pass ≠ PASS) Click "Save Password in Mac OSX Keychain" if it is not already checked. Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com Click the right arrow to continue.
OS X Entourage Step 6 Optional: Verify Settings. Ignore and click the right arrow to continue. A window will popup like the one below: Click "Skip".
OS X Entourage Step 7 Setup Complete window. Type in an account name and check the two checkboxes below. The setting should look like the illustration below. Click the Finish button.
OS X Entourage Step 8 The Accounts window will now show the added email account.
OS X Entourage Step 9 You will need to open the account that you just created, and make an additional setting. To open the new account that you just created it, double-click on it's name.
OS X Entourage Step 10 Click the button that says "Click here for advanced sending options", as outlined in red below.
OS X Entourage Step 11 On the window that appears, check the box that says "SMTP server requires authentication". Then, click the button that says "Use same setting as receiving mail server". Click "OK", and close the Accounts window. You are all done!
