The Sundog Media Employee Handbook has been developed to provide general guidelines about Sundog Media policies and procedures for employees. It is a guide to assist you in becoming familiar with some of the privileges and obligations of your employment, including Sundog Mediaʹs policy of voluntary at‐will employment. None of the policies in it are intended to give rise to contractual rights or obligations, nor to be construed as a guarantee of employment for any specific period of time, nor any specific type of work. With the exception of the voluntary at‐will employment policy, these guidelines are subject to modification, amendment or revocation by Sundog Media at any time, without advance notice.
The personnel polices of Sundog Media were established by Joe and Cathy Law, founders of Sundog Media. Employees are encouraged to consult with Joe or Cathy for additional information regarding the policies, procedures, and privileges described. Questions about personnel matters also may be reviewed with Joe or Cathy Law.
We request that each employee read, review and approve of the policies and procedures of this handbook to begin employment. All employees are expected to abide by the policies and procedures in our online handbook. The highest standards of personal and professional ethics and behavior are expected of all Sundog Media employees.
Further, Sundog Media expects each employee to display good judgment, diplomacy and courtesy in their professional relationships with team members and customers of Sundog Media as well as the general public.
By accepting employment with Sundog Media, you acknowledge receipt of the Sundog Employee Handbook, understand that it is your continuing responsibility to read and know its contents. You agree not to share it or any services provided to Sundog Media’s customers with any other businesses. You agree to delete your copy of any and all Sundog Media and our customer information upon termination of your employment.
This is not an employment contract for any specific period of employment or for continuing or long‐term employment. Therefore, you acknowledge and understand that unless you have a written employment agreement with Sundog Media that provides otherwise, you have the right to resign from your employment with Sundog Media at any time with or without notice and with or without cause, and that Sundog Media has the right to terminate your employment at any time with or without notice and with or without cause.
