Serving Alaskans for 20 Years!

Our garage converted into an office outside our 780 square foot house

I can hardly believe it was 20 years ago this fall that I began freelancing as a graphic artist.

My first big contract was publishing a weekly newspaper called “Real Estate This Week”. As part of my contract I was given a small office to work from within the Anchorage Board of Realtors office on Sesame Street. Gradually, our company grew and I was even able to convince my wife, Cathy, to give up her accounting job and come work with me for less money and worse benefits, which just proves how good a salesman I am.

We eventually outgrew our little office on Sesame Street and decided to move our business home, converting our small, detached garage into our business office. Fast-forward 20 years and now, instead of working out of a garage, we are working in a beautiful addition above our garage (cue the moving on up sound track).

I plan to write more about the last 20 years, but for today I just want to say how grateful I am to have had the honor to serve Alaskans for so long, and for the trust and favor I have been blessed with from each of you. I’m super-excited to see what the next 20 years will bring for Sundog Media, and I’m incredibly thankful for my amazing team sharing the journey.

Blessings on your day!
