“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”

– Ansel Adams

Part of the Sundog team since September, 2019. I’ve been in the Web design field and a photographer in Anchorage, Alaska for years. I have tremendous respect for Sundog’s talented and kind team… I’m honored to be part of it! I also have the privilege of working in person with Sundog clients creating professional commercial photography that tells their story and reflects their brand.

When my husband and I got married, we lived in Canyon, Texas for a couple of years. We were thinking about taking a vacation to Alaska, but after doing some research, we realized the potential that Alaska had to offer. Our vacation turned into my husband’s job interview. In 1998 we sold most of our stuff and drove from Texas to Anchorage. Here we are still… loving this beautiful place.

Being with my family is what I love the most. I like to hike and read. Photography is my passion.

After getting my degree in communications from Monterrey Tech in Mexico, I worked at a startup company that developed interactive CD-ROMs. The internet was starting to really take off. When I moved to Alaska, I became part of the interactive team for a local advertising agency and that’s where my web design journey began and oh boy, it evolves daily!

I’m constantly reminded that “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” (James 1:17). God is the creator and provider. I tangibly see His work in everything that surrounds me. There are many artists (photographers, designers, musicians…) that I follow through various resources and they encourage me daily.
