Korean War Online

In July 2023, Pat McCarty, daughter of the late Korean War Veteran, Bert Kortegaard, called Sundog asking if we could assist with gaining access to her late stepfather’s domain and help her keep the site up as a legacy website with minimal changes. The site’s goal is to bring a small picture of the history and infantry weapons of the Korean War into one small place on the web. Pat’s stepfather often told her about visitors who had connected with him and provided content and insight.

Together Pat and Cathy worked to gain access to the registrar for ownership access by providing the necessary ICANN documentation proving Pat was the legitimate new owner. Once we gained access, we transferred the domain and migrated the site and services into one of Sundog’s Annual Website Services. It is our goal to help Pat retain a part of the history that her stepfather worked so long to gather and preserve.
