Enrollment Requirements
To have a website content maintenance plan with Sundog, your website must be hosted with us. All our clients have an annual service plan with Sundog provided services which, at minimum, include hosting and the LITE website content maintenance.
What Constitutes an Update Request
We really want you to keep your website up to date. In fact, Google loves seeing fresh content and so do your customers! Our goal with this program is to make it very easy for you to request updates and know that they will get done in a fast, friendly and professional manner. What If We Have More Requests Than Our Plan Allows?
If, for instance, you are on the SIMPLE plan and you have three requests in a month instead of the two allotted, no worries, it’s an annual service plan and you’ll probably request one less in other months of the year. If it turns out your needs are continually more than your plan, we’ll bump you up to the next level as needed. Count on the fact that we will be flexible and fair.
Turnaround Time
Requests typically have a 1-2 day turnaround. We will let you know when we receive the request if we need more clarification, if it will take more time than our typical turnaround or, possibly, if it would require a separate bid because of the scope of the request.
Payment Types
We accept checks, bank transfers and all major credit cards. We invoice electronically through Quickbooks to your email with an Intuit payment link where the payment automatically applies to your invoice.
Availability
Our goal is to respond within an hour of receiving your update request. To achieve this we have a dedicated first responder team member on standby 9-5 M-F and we truly attempt to complete update requests within 1-2 business days.
Uninterrupted Service – Renewal
Once you have an annual service plan with content maintenance, your service will continue uninterrupted with a recurring invoice emailed to you just prior to the annual renewal date. This allows us to provide uninterrupted, fast, friendly and first class service.
Refund Policy – How You Can Cancel
We hate to have any client leave but we understand people and needs change so if you have to go, we work with you and your new web team to make the transition as smooth as possible. Once our service is no longer required, you just let us know your site is resolving on new name servers, we’ll verify this and then settle up, pro-rating for the months remaining or due at the time of that notification. https://intodns.com shows where your site is resolving. 🙂
Fair Both Ways – How We Can Cancel
The whole goal of an Annual Website Service Plan is to give us the freedom to provide friendly, professional support and be a part of your team for years to come. Sometimes, however, we learn that we are not a match for a client’s needs, and much like we learned in kindergarten, it’s just best not to play together. If we determine we want to cancel, we will give you notice, work with you to make a smooth transition to a new web team and send a refund pro-rated for the months remaining or payment due once the transition is complete.
For a Single Website
The above LITE, SIMPLE, and PRO website content maintenance plans are typically meant for single websites. But if we host more than one website for you or you have a network of sites within a WordPress Multisite, we take it into consideration and establish a fair price bundling them in an annual service plan when it fits your needs; a CUSTOM plan.
How Many Hours Do I Get?
Our Website Content Maintenance program is not based on hours of service provided. It’s based upon the number of update requests. In fact, as a rule, we don’t even track time per customer. We simply strive to provide valuable and timely service. However, it sometimes helps to relate using hours so, our programs would roughly translate into the following: LITE = up to 3 hours per year, SIMPLE = up to 12 hours per year, PRO = up to 20 hours per year.
Do I Have To Have a Website Content Maintenance Plan?
All Sundog clients are enrolled in an annual service plan that includes, at minimum, a complimentary LITE content maintenance plan.
