Tangirnaq Native Village – Woody Island Tribal Council

Woody Island is four miles long and two miles wide. It has seven small lakes and about thirteen miles of coastline. By Kodiak standards this is small island, yet is has a rich and remarkable history. Woody Island Tribal Council exists to promote and ensure the social, economic, political, and cultural needs of our citizens. They do that through culture & connection, sustainability, and advocacy.
