Merry Christmas!

For unto you is born this day in the city of david a savior, who is christ the lord.The tree is up, the stockings are hung and the anticipation of our five boys is high. The excitement of our 4 year old triplets as they start to see presents show up under the tree is a wonderful sight to behold!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, not only because of the time with family, the great food and fellowship but it is also a chance to reflect and celebrate what Christmas means to us. Christmas is a celebration of a savior coming into the world.  Luke 2:11 says “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” I am so thankful for the freedom we have in this country to express our beliefs and for this time of year to celebrate the birth of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I recognize that Christmas means different things to many people and that the freedom to celebrate it how we desire is a wonderful gift all by itself. We are truly blessed in the USA beyond what we likely can appreciate.
