HAPPY 4th of JULY FROM the SUNDOG TEAM!
As a young artist, one of my favorite things to draw was the bald eagle. There is something extraordinarily majestic and free about them.

One of my fondest memories is hanging out with the eagles down in Seldovia while filleting fish and watching them swoop down to grab the scraps. Often they would land right next to me, waiting patiently for a prime piece of halibut. And, I had a great laugh watching an eagle fly away with my Godson’s rainbow trout while fishing in Cordova!

Bald eagles! Their inspiring strength, beauty, grace, and tenacity make them a fitting symbol of independence and freedom for America, and what the 4th of July is all about.

I hope all of you have a wonderful celebration. Be safe!
