Appreciating the little things

As these amazing warm sunny summer days roll one into another I am really appreciating the little things. Right outside the window of my office is a beautiful crab apple tree and for a very short period each summer it blooms with white flowers and I am truly struck by it’s beauty. After this tree loses it’s flowers the lilacs bloom purple and after a very long cold winter/spring I think all of us Alaskan’s can really appreciate these little details and pleasures!

I hope that each of you are soaking in all the vitamin D you can and availing yourself of the amazing beauty and adventures that Alaska has to offer.
